What is your story and achievements in life?
I was born in Athens. From early age I was influenced by the sounds of r&b, soul and jazz that made me immediately progress to House music. All these led me to choose to learn piano and that was the point where I got into music production. Since that was not enough, I realised that in order to upgrade my production skills I needed more education; therefore I decided to study sound engineering and music technology. As a DJ, I first used the decks in front of an audience in 2006, since then I have played in venues and clubs all over Greece. My skills have allowed me to play along with some of the biggest names in the house music scene! Over the past 10 years as Chris IDH i have released many tracks with various well known international labels such as Suma records, Look At You records , Quantize recordings, King Street Sounds, Deeptone, Suma and many more… When in the studio i love to experiment with new breaking sounds and create tracks that even though are fresh, they have a respect for the original sound of House music. And finally, after a lot of years & experience, a clear picture came to my mind of what i wanted & needed to do. So I started to produce atmospheric songs that were influenced by melodic & emotional elements and became one of the main of artists of Bercana Music. An idealism, where electronic sounds echo the organic textures of the cosmos & the deep bounds of existence. An overwhelming expedition to all places & dimensions.
What was your favourite toy that you still remember from your childhood? Why?
If i go way back i have to say GI Joe! I remember myself playing for hours and i still have a few left! 🙂
What is your dressing style about?
I try to take care in how I pick my clothes and i always choose something unique!
What is the coolest piece in your wardrobe?
My Boho style jacket!
If there is any style icon you follow, who is it and why?
Actually I do not have a style icons to determine. But i follow some good pinterest users that post very cool articles about men’s fashion.
What is your favourite decorative object in your house?
It is a coco palm (flower pot)!
Which neighbourhood in Athens is your favourite one? Why?
Monastiraki is my favourite neighbourhood because it has so many little shops that you can find anything you like in and also has a beautiful view of Acropolis.
What is your favourite place in Athens? Why?
Pere Ubu is my favourite place in Athens, in Glyfada neighbourhood. It has great food and amazing vibe.
Can you name three must things to do in Athens?
Visit Acropolis and observe Athens city from above. Walk at Plaka neighbourhood where you can feel like you’re in a Greek island and watch movie at Cineparis.
