What is your story and achievements in life?
I work for Dangerous Minds brand as a buyer and a brand development manager. My interest in fashion came when i was still a kid, but i never really had a chance to work in fashion until i met Andreas, the owner of Dangerous Minds. At that time he wanted to create a team that can take Dangerous Minds to another level and i ended up doing that with him. Three years ago i moved to Athens for our first flagship store opening and i have been living here ever since.
What was your favorite toy that you still remember from your childhood? Why?
I used to have a big pirate ship toy with cannons and pirates and sharks and all that stuff. It was a Christmas present from my parents. I loved it so much that i thought i was a pirate too. I played with that for years, every morninguntil noon, the time that the super villain enemy captain, my father, was coming back from work and destroying my ship. 🙂 I think the memory of how happy i was playing with my father makes that toy still very special to me.
What is your dressing style about?
I don’t think i have a specific dressing style but two words that comes to my mind are: street & comfort. I am really in to street fashion but only with pieces that make me feel comfortable through the day. I can’t be myself otherwise, and i think that our dressing style should come from our feelings, an extension of our personality and mood.
What is the coolest piece in your wardrobe?
I can’t do without my Hanes Tagless tees, either from Supreme or Comme des Garçons, you can hit the gym or rock a suit with that and still look cool, it’s an absolute essential.
If there is any style icon you follow, who is it and why?
You know, i don’t really follow anyone for his/hers style, i mean you can’t be cool if you try to look like someone else, and i say that because i tried before. Actually i believe in ‘Energy Icons”. For example i follow Kanye since i was in high school, i grew up with his music, art, performances, street-style, the amount of energy that he has! This man is out of this planet and i am lucky to have few of this Energy Icons. And also my brothers Chromet and Kewyawn, are really close to me, the “Dragon Energy”, i idolise them, they make me be a better me.
What is your favourite decorative object in your house?
I have some objects around that reminds me of places i visited or moments i had fun with my friends and family. For example, the period that i left home for Athens, my mother bought me a fancy thermos for my coffee, the design of that has nothing to do with her sense of style or aesthetics but she thought that is very close to what i like, and not by accident, she has interest to know what makes me happy or what i like and that’s why i never really used it for coffee, i placed it next to my bed so i can see it every morning. When i wake up it reminds me what real love is, my parents are holy to me and that’s why this is my favourite object.
Which neighbourhood in Athens is your favorite one? Why?
I live in Keramikos neighbourhood and even if i didn’t like it on first place it became my favourite with time, a wild mix of people with some hidden gems like restaurants, bars, cafes all make Keramikos very urban cool.
What is your favourite place in Athens? Why?
Drupes & Drips is my favourite place, either for morning coffee or some evening Spritz, it’s a cool place with lots of energy.
What was the coolest country, city or place to have the best fun ever? What did you do?
I think Berlin is the coolest place I have ever been so far. I have been there for work, with friends or even alone. You can feel the freedom and the coolness in every spot of the city. I have some crazy memories but you know, what happens in Berlin stays in Berlin 🙂
