What was your favourite toy that you still remember from your childhood? Why?

My favorite toy was a baby boy doll. I called him “Kabak”, I have no idea why 🙂 I admired his brownish skin color and the way he always smiled at me 🙂 He always wore PJ’s!

What is your dressing style about?

My style is classical and refined yet I don’t like to follow the rules. For example I usually don’t prefer to wear a bow tie in a balck tie event and may go for alternative cloth colors which are made to order.

What is the coolest piece in your wardrobe?

I wouldn’t actually call my pieces cool, I believe cool is a feeling. Its all about your attitude. With confidence a comfy dark silk shirt is good enough.

If there is any style icon you follow, who is it and why?

My father. We both care about the roots of mens styling and have an eye for quality. In my younger years we visited Corneliani before the brand grew immensely around the world. That was the first time I realized there was more than one shirt collar type:) Besides his knowledge I liked the way he would buy a classical blazer and change its lining with a very colorful alternative. This rebellious character behind classical style excited me alot:) Now I am at a point where I merge the knowledge I got from him with my own taste.

What is your favourite decorative object in your house?

My Christmas tree. I keep it year round. I like shiny ornamantels, they make me feel good 🙂

What is your favourite place in Istanbul? Why? (bar, restaurant, cafe, club etc.)

Cafe Setup in Kabataş, I feel at peace.

What was the coolest country, city or place to have the best fun ever? What did you do?

I would probably say the UK. I like rain, I find it romantic. Other than that good music, live shows, great food and kind people. I like London as well as the beautiful countrysides in the north.

How do you spend your home stay these days?

I started working on new single projects with my coworkers at my home studio before the pandemic and still am doing so. We are renovating our office at the moment and will be accepting new projects soon 🙂
