Lider Sahin is a musician, a producer and an interior designer. He was born to an artistic family, in Istanbul. Thus, he has been involved into music, arts and acting since his childhood. During his high school years, Lider was in love with sports and he decided to join the Besiktas basketball team. Later on, after finishing his university studies in the major of Interior Architecture and Design, he became an interior designer. But with time, his growing passion for music has made him focus more on his musical career. Lider was the lead character in Seninle Basım Dertte musical. He released his first single Mesela on digital portals last year and now he is working on his second single.

What was your favourite toy that you still remember from your childhood? Why?
Troll Dolls were so popular during 90’s. I had around thirty Troll Dolls. I don’t know why but back then i even believed that Troll Dolls were becoming alive at night times…
What is your dressing style about?
I don’t follow fashion trends but I can describe my style as basic and casual, but with a modern touch.
What is the coolest piece in your wardrobe?
My burgundy velvet bomber jacket from Champion.
If there is any style icon you follow, who is it and why?
I don’t follow anyone at the moment but I admire Abel Tasfaye’s style because he is really capable of pulling off simple pieces.
What is your favourite decorative object in your house?
My grandfather’s hand-carved walking stick with a falcon head.
Which neighbourhood in Istanbul is your favourite one? Why?
Definitely Arnavutkoy. It’s just amazing how they managed to maintain the architecture of the neighbourhood for over a period of 1500 years. The Greek houses, backyards and narrow streets are so favourable.
What is your favourite place in Istanbul? Why?
Regarding it’s long history, great ambience and delicious appetisers: Agora Meyhanesi tavernis one of my favourite.
What was the coolest country, city or place to have the best fun ever? What did you do?
Barcelona! We ate and drank most of the time, met with locals and strangers. I believe what made that trip fun was being with my siblings.
How do you spend your home stay these days?
I have a music studio in my house. So I spend most of my time composing and producing. I’m trying to be productive as much as possible these days. Also, I do my daily work-outs and trying to cook new healthy recipes in my kitchen.
