Iwc’s latest Ingenieur Automatic iconic watch model is a simple three-hand watch with a date window at “3 o’clock” and a diameter of 40 millimetre. With its simple dial, characteristic luminescent dots and polished bezel, it most closely resembles the Ingenieur models of the 1950s. The stainless-steel model with a stainless-steel bracelet has a black dial.

The case is designed to bear close resemblance to the original Ingenieur SL created by Gérald Genta in the 1970s. The Ingenieur was first introduced in 1955, and in the 1970s Günter Blümlein had Genta do a re-design and created the SL collection. Find the watch from here.
