Marcelo Coutihno lives in Lisbon.He is a full time pharmacist, working a lot during these hard days. Marcelo is also a licensed airplane pilot with a big desire to fly. In addition to all these, since last October, he has been one of developers behind a fresh new and coolest brands in the market, named SUPERFICIAL.
What was your favourite toy that you still remember from your childhood? Why?
The first thing that come to my mind are my sister’s vinyl discs. I was always curious about what Joni Mitchell, Suzanne Vega or Whitney Houston were singing about.
What is your dressing style about?
Very minimal. I love neutral and dark colours without accessorising them much. It’s always good to go with a T-shirt, a cool pair of pants or shorts (summer guy) and sneakers. Good cuts and materials are always a must.
What is the coolest piece in your wardrobe?
My SUPERFICIAL. T-shirt definitely. Oh, and also a super cool pair of SUPERFICIAL. socks, which will be out really soon, I hope! 🤞🏻
If there is any style icon you follow, who is it and why?
I wouldn’t say style icon, but I have some pretty cool and stylish friends such as: @iampatrickmason, @chase.dexter and @apostolisgofas, to name a few. Individuality for me is the most important thing in someone’s style.
What is your favourite decorative object in your house?
I would say four art pieces of a Peruvian artist called Flor Padilla. They are pretty special to me.
Which neighbourhood in Lisbon is your favourite one? Why?
I’m torn between Principe Real, a cool neighbourhood with stores, bars, restaurants and Graça, the neighbourhood I live. It’s in the centre of Lisbon but gives you the feeling that you’re outside of the big city.
What is your favourite place in Lisbon? Why?
I don’t go out as much as I used to, but definitely the club Lux Fragil is the place where I have more fun and good memories. A total must for a night out in Lisbon.
What was the coolest country, city or place to have the best fun ever? What did you do?
When thinking about traveling, many places come to my mind… But for fun, I would have to say Berlin, it was 2018 New Year’s Eve!
How do you spent your home stay these days?
Even though I’m working less hours then my normal schedule I’m still spending my time between work and home, social isolating.
I would love to say that I’m still doing a lot of exercises and maintaining my mind busy… but no. I’m binge watching Netflix and eating pretty much every thing I have in my fridge.
