Yigit Dikmen is a life-style influencer and actor based in Istanbul. He played soccer for a long time but after a bad injury he had to retire and forget about the green field. After finishing International Logistics major, Yigit worked in a Danish company for three years. Later on, he got an opportunity to participate in Survivor Turkey and Survivor All-Star, TV shows. Getting his popularity from the screen leaded him to acting in several TV series and TV ads. Nowadays, he is a life-style influencer and also he is an owner of a fresh new Leon Coffee & Cocktail Bar in Nisantasi area, in the heart of Istanbul city.
What was your favourite toy that you still remember from your childhood? Why?
Maybe it is not a toy but when I look back at my childhood memories all my passion was about soccer so my balls and shoes were all time favourites.
What is your dressing style about?
I love basic and cool things but it depends on the season actually. I can say that in summer time I like to wear bohemian pieces.
What is the coolest piece in your wardrobe?
I love my leather jacket that I bought from a vintage shop in New York.
If there is any style icon you follow, who is it and why?
Actually, I don’t have only one. I like to search for everything and I am interested in every styles. I don’t now if it is accepted but Vincent Cassel is my idol!
What is your favourite decorative object in your house?
I started to draw some acrylic paintings three months ago so I can proudly say that I Iove my art works all around my home.
Which neighbourhood in Istanbul is your favourite one? Why?
7-Definitely Suadiye. I have been living here since my childhood. We are very close to the seaside and also Bagdat street that is one of the one of the gratest places in Istanbul city.
What is your favourite place in Istanbul? Why?
I love to go out often, so there are a lot of places to name. But The Townhouse,Wu Bomonti and Batard are my favourite ones. And soon, of course, I hope my best favourite place will be my own cocktail bar 🙂
What was the coolest country, city or place to have the best fun ever? What did you do?
Barcelona is my favourite city and one day I would love to live there! Everything about it is so cool and just cozy. And finally the next one is New York.
How do you spent your home stay these days?
Actually, now I have the best time to find myself again. I am re-discovering myself and that makes me really happy. I am trying to learn Spanish language using online applications. I draw a lot of paintings and it really makes me feel free. And I am trying to cook different meals every day and of course I found a lot of time to read all books that I bought before. They all improve my creativity and I am really happy about that. I try to improve myself in many fields and that feels so cool
