Plato Papagiannopoulos is a fashion model and a F&B manager from Athens. He got involved with modelling business at the age of 18. Later on, he worked for nine years as an assistant to one of the top Greek designers, Stelios Kodounaris. Plato loves fashion, or as he says : ‘It runs through every bit of my life.’ His arsenal of work is not ending here. He also takes a big pride and a great enjoyment in working now as a F&B manager at Zuka, a beautiful restaurant/bar in the heart of Athens.

What was your favourite toy that you still remember from your childhood? Why?

My favourite toy as a kid was not really a toy but an activity: as long as I remember myself I loved drawing and my pens and pencils could be considered as my favourite unconventional toys!

What is your dressing style about?

My dressing style is mainly minimal with a focus on geometric lines. I love to wear tuxedos. Black colour is my favourite. 

What is the coolest piece in your wardrobe?

The coolest piece is my leather bomber jacket that I wear everyday!

If there is any style icon you follow, who is it and why?

I follow many style icons on Instagram. Lakis Gavalas is my favourite among Greeks and Richard Biedul stands out among foreign ones.

What is your favourite decorative object in your house?

The favourite decorative object in my house is a three disco balls along with a lamp that make a perfect cozy corner.

Which neighbourhood in Athens is your favourite one? Why?

My favourite neighbourhoods would be Pagkrati, Plakaand Petralona.

What is your favourite place in Athens? Why?

My favourite place in Athens is Zuka. It’s a gorgeous place with great food, perfect music, sexy vibe, beautiful people and the best cocktails in the city.

What was the coolest country, city or place to have the best fun ever? What did you do? 

I have visited many countries so far but my coolest times are spent in Athens! I guess I love this city too much!

How do you spent your home stay these days?

These days I am mostly relaxing and enjoying cooking. Reading a lot and of course, and listening to music!
